I design unit crests in vector format, using Adobe Illustrator CS3. I started doing it in 1994 as a cadet at the Coast Guard Academy, and then as a commissioned officer. Now, I'm one of the very few Coast Guard crest experts in the country (a pretty cool distinction!).
I can either come up with a crest 'from scratch' for you, or else take an existing (but outdated) crest and modernize it. I always work from vector art when building stuff, so if you don't have vector files, I'll have to generate them. But once they're done, they always belong to the unit, and I don't claim any copyrights.
